Dear family and friends,
It has been our most adventurous year ever, and there will surely be more to come. We moved in January from our home in Greenville to Sarah's parent's house in Murfreesboro, TN. Although we did not stay there long; we loaded up our new 35' travel trailer and new-to-us Ford Excursion and started out for our first missions conference which was in Maryland. God faithfully filled our schedule over the next 10 months with great contacts, meetings, and conferences; and we count it a privilege to have shared our lives and our ministry with so many like-minded believers! We have been welcomed into many homes and humbled by numerous generous gifts. To sum it up, the time spent together as a family has been invaluable; the meetings have been a great blessing; the extra opportunities to visit family and friends have been special and memorable; and as for all the cool places we've been, well, they were really cool!
Hannah, Will, and Kara have adapted wonderfully to their home on wheels. They enjoy every day as a new adventure. Will (age 4) likes to introduce himself as "Will the baseball player", and upon our arrival at one church he said, "You're right, Dad, they do have baseball fields everywhere!" Hannah (almost 6) is always ready to make a new friend, or buddy, as she likes to call them. And Kara (age 1 1/2) stays very busy keeping up with Hannah and Will! We are excited about the expectation of welcoming a baby brother into the family shortly after the new year.
At this special time of year it brings us comfort and joy to know God has already given us the most wonderful gift, a Savior. He is the eternal Son of God who humbled himself to enter the world. Because He is our Savior, Jesus Christ, and because we have received His free gift of salvation by forgiveness and faith in Him, we see His glory and know His grace. We pray you also are experiencing the hope and purpose Christ brings!
